待沉靜蔓延，撫慰著自己失重或孤獨的靈魂；
待沉澱凝結，感受著時間所隱藏的悠遠與靜謐。
「JAMEI CHEN．Dialogue」坐落在中山北路、台北光點巷弄旁，一家極為低調質樸的複合式Tea Salon。它的誕生不是依循一般追求利潤的經營操作模式，反而是一種對美好生活的嚮往與投入。服裝設計師陳季敏指出，現代人的生活步調太匆忙，早已忘卻溫吞慢活之餘所隱含的講究與感性。因?漏失太多情感，縱使物質無虞，心靈卻困乏依舊。
此基地面對著台北光點這個綠蔭環繞、悠靜便捷的藝文空間。當這個藝文據點為台北保留下如此多的藝術電影與空間資產；或許是一份對都市環境的關心，取名為「Dialogue」，顧名思義是期望這個空間能重現過去如沙龍般，成為孕育文化、人文、思想的場域。同時，也扮演著與整體環境相互融合的呼應角色。

JAMEI CHEN’s Dialogue is located in a quiet alley along Chung-Shan N. Road. It is a tea salon without a clamorous outlook. The birth of this store was not based on the stereotype of a normal business model. It was born because we cannot bear to lose our wonderful past. Fashion designer Jamei Chen intent was to bring back the old memories when people had their life in a slow rhythm and the past seemed to be more sensitive to a true life. She sees we have become stuffed with all sorts of material things without thinking how much has been lost in real life.
The site faces Light Point, a coffee shop originally the old American Embassy. Jamei Chen’s “Dialogue” not only makes a dialogue with the beautiful site surrounded by greenery; it even recreates a cultural salon from Taipei’s past. “Dialogue” calls for an enthusiastic devotion to cultural activity that associates with the city’s history. It also intends to assume a responsibility for not only the district but the city’s role in world culture.
